Purva oversees Curriculum at Aangan. Purva holds a degree in law from the Campus Law Centre, the University of Delhi. An extremely rewarding experience volunteering with an organization working on children’s issues during her student days became a turning point. And more than a decade later, she continues to contribute in a small way to a space which gives her energy and a feeling of fulfillment. 

She has 12+ years of experience working with issues of rights, safety and empowerment. She has worked with DALSA (Delhi State Legal Services Authority) on access and awareness of legal rights amongst citizens. 

At Aangan, she has been designing and executing curriculum on safety and protection for community groups, child-care institutions, partner organizations and State departments and government functionaries for 5+ years.

She comes with a strong and diverse experience in training and capacity building for audiences from urban and rural backgrounds, schools, adolescents, teachers, community groups and leadership teams of non-profit organizations and State bodies across states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa and Rajasthan. 

She also holds a Diploma in Experiential Education– a certificate course on Instructional Design and Facilitation and is trained in Basic Counseling Skills for trauma informed response. Other than this she fills her days with reading, storytelling, writing and traveling.
