Chief of Programs 

Base Location: Delhi

This is an exciting role for an ambitious individual looking to help shape an influential program of work. The Chief of Programs is a key leadership role at Aangan. The post-holder is responsible for the delivery of our programs across states, focused particularly on districts that are most vulnerable (aspirational districts, and hotspot districts of child harm), and is a member of the Senior Management Team. The post reports to the Chief Operations Officer.

Program Associate, School Safety Hubs

Base Location: Kolkata or Ranchi, with extensive travel to Dumka, Jamtara and Pakur (Jharkhand)

Our program in Jharkhand needs a competent and motivated Program Associates to join our team. The individual will have the opportunity to be part of a program that builds platforms or child safety systems in schools to facilitate dialogue between empowered community women groups and school authorities like principals and teachers to ensure children are in schools, safe and supported.

Program Associate, Child Oriented Policing 

Base Locations: Patna (Bihar) or Jaipur (Rajasthan)

We are looking for Program Associates  to enable the most marginalized groups to participate in decisions that affect them directly. The Program Associates help build a positive relationship as well as create strong communication channels between the community (specifically women and girls) and the Police. 

Program Associate, Child-Proofing Climate Change 

Base Location: Kolkata (West Bengal), with extensive travel to North and South 24 Parganas 

Aangan is looking to hire individuals who want to be a part of developing institutionalised platforms for dialogue between communities, panchayats and schools to establish protective mechanisms ensuring safety of children in the context of recurrent climatic hazards. 

Data Field Officers, School Safety Hubs

Base Locations: Ranchi or Dumka (Jharkhand), with extensive travel and stay in Jamtara and Dumka respectively

The Data Field Officer plays a key role in leveraging the power of data to push forth organizational and policy goals for the state. S/he will ensure the accuracy and authenticity of child protection data reports generated and presented to government officials and community influencers. His/her work will have a significant impact on the kind of systemic and policy-level change brought about through Aangan within the child protection sphere at the local district level.

Research Associate, Knowledge & Impact

Base Location: Delhi

The role is responsible for executing primary and secondary research, develop research questionnaires, prepare analysis plan, carry out content analysis of qualitative data, synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into meaningful insights for a diverse group of recipients, including funders, program teams, government and non-government stakeholders. 

Senior Research Associate, Knowledge & Impact (Evaluation)

Base Location: Delhi

The role is responsible for managing primary and secondary research, develop research questionnaires, prepare analysis plan, carry out statistical analysis of quantitative data and content analysis of qualitative data, synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into meaningful insights for a diverse group of recipients, including funders, program teams, government and non-government stakeholders.

Research Manager, Knowledge & Impact (Policy Research)

Base Location: Delhi

The role is responsible for managing primary and secondary research including, development of study design, developing questionnaires and databases, and other research-related tasks, evidence syntheses (e.g. literature reviews, portfolio reviews, learning papers, quantitative and qualitative data gathering, meta-analysis) to generate meaningful insights for a diverse group of recipients, including funders, program teams, government and non-government stakeholders.
