Kanika has 12+ years of experience working with and for the rights of children, through diverse stakeholders - non-profit organizations, police services, other State level child-protection agencies, schools and other education-related State agencies.Â
She believes that the hard work of long-term change is visible when we strike at systemic and structural problems. And hence, what excites her about work at Aangan is to be able to strengthen existing State-level systems that are meant to protect and deliver the rights of children.Â
She heads Aangan’s work with the Police systems- the goal of which is to strengthen Policing systems for increased responsiveness to child safety. Kanika holds a degree in Economics and Education.Â
